Privacy Notice

What we collect, why, and how you're in control of it.

Last updated: 30 July 2026

1. Who is responsible for your data

David Bauer (individual), Kaiserstr 102, 52146 Würselen, Germany, is the data controller for the data described here. Contact us via the Support form.

2. What we collect, and why

a) When you buy a Pro license

b) When you use the Support form

The name, email address, and message you provide — used only to answer your question, never published or shared beyond what's needed to help you.

c) When you use the app itself

d) Server logs

Like virtually all web servers, our hosting logs basic request data (IP address, timestamp, requested URL) for operational and security purposes such as abuse prevention.

3. Legal basis (GDPR)

We process this data to perform our contract with you (issuing and supporting your license), to respond to support requests (legitimate interest), and to prevent fraud or abuse of the licensing system (legitimate interest).

4. Who we share data with

We do not sell your data, and don't share it with anyone else beyond what's needed to run the service described above.

5. International transfers

Paddle and Brevo may process data outside the EU/EEA; both provide appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) for such transfers. Our hosting (netcup) is located in Germany, within the EU.

6. How long we keep data

License and purchase records are kept as long as needed to support your license and meet legal/tax retention obligations. Support form messages are kept only as long as needed to resolve your request, then deleted within a reasonable time.

7. Your rights

Under GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete or export your data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to complain to your local data protection authority. To exercise any of these, contact us via the Support form.

8. Children

AbyssIPTV is not directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect data from children.

9. Changes to this notice

We may update this notice occasionally; the "Last updated" date above will change accordingly.

This is a plain-language notice from a small independent developer, not a law firm — if you have specific data-protection questions, please get in touch via the Support form.
